Point Mobile is entering the Japanese automotive diagnostics market with a 10 billion KRW supply contract.
On the 22nd, the company announced a deal with EZDS, a specialist in automotive diagnostic equipment, to supply its high-performance TR54 device.
The device features an 11-inch display, a barcode scanner angled at 45 degrees, Android 15 OS,
and rugged durability rated to withstand drops from 1.2 to 1.5 meters—making it well-suited for the demanding environment of vehicle diagnostics.
Custom accessories jointly developed with EZDS enhance its market fit for Japan.
A Point Mobile spokesperson stated, “The TR54 is more than just a device—it's a strategic product
that combines our experience in tablet PCs with our ability to tailor solutions across industries.
This agreement serves as a launchpad for entering diagnostic markets not only in Japan but also in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.”
